Here at Space To Be, we specialise in working with children, adolescents and young adults with a range of social, emotional, sensory, developmental, motor and psychological differences, needs and strengths.
Our Occupational Therapist, Jesse, has experience in working with people with a range of diagnoses such as; anxiety, depression, Autism (ASD), attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), global developmental delay (GDD), genetic differences, oppositional defiance disorder (ODD) and sensory differences (SPD). We understand that each individual experiences their diagnosis, needs and strengths differently and will need individualised support and therapy. Please read below for the different ways in which Occupational Therapy may be delivered for you or your child.
Individual Therapy Sessions
Individual therapy sessions will help you or your child work towards their individual goals. Individual therapy may be recommended prior to joining a group or holiday program. We believe in supporting whole family systems, so parents and carers are encouraged to attend with their child and get involved with these sessions.
Group Therapy Sessions
Group therapy is a great way for you or your child to generalise and expand learning from individual sessions. We always keep our groups small and well supported by our passionate Therapy Assistants. Group therapy helps connect you with others, share learning and develop confidence.
Holiday Programs
Our holiday intensives run for 5 days in a row for 2 hours. These are fantastic opportunities to quickly build a sense of connection and belonging and reach towards aspirations.

Fees
Our Occupational Therapy (OT) fee is $190/ hour
An hour is set aside for each appointment including 45 minutes of face-to-face support and 15 minutes of therapist time for documentation and preparation.
Our Therapy Assistant (TA) fee is $80/ hour
An hour is set aside for each appointment including 45 minutes of face-to-face support and 15 minutes of therapist time for documentation and preparation.
Travel is charged at the OT/TA rate of per hour/part of hour. Travel time is split between all of the clients that day.
Group and holiday program fees are subject to change in relation to time, group attendees and therapy assistant time, this could range anywhere between $70- $140/ hour - please contact us to find out more.
